ZappyVue is Zappyhire’s asynchronous video interviewing product. Recruiters build a custom interview, candidates record answers on their own time, and the platform scores and ranks them on knowledge, language proficiency – claimed at 98 percent accuracy – and communication, across more than 50 languages. Hiring teams review together, and it integrates with existing systems.
Asynchronous is the right shape for first-round screening, and the reason is scheduling rather than AI. A first-round call is fifteen minutes of content wrapped in three days of calendar negotiation, and the candidates lost in that window are disproportionately the ones already holding another offer. Removing the scheduling step is worth more than any scoring improvement.
Billing is per interview minute with no card required and no rates shown until signup. The proctoring deserves a straight look: full-screen monitoring and face recognition on job applicants is surveillance, it is the sort of processing that carries specific obligations in the EU and several US states, and candidates are in a poor position to refuse it. Scoring communication skill from video also disadvantages accents, disfluency and poor bandwidth, and a 98 percent accuracy figure is the vendor’s own with no stated test set.
