It connects to Gmail, Outlook, Google Drive, OneDrive, SharePoint, Dropbox, Slack and Microsoft Teams, or takes uploads and drag-and-drop, and a file agent then creates, organizes, renames, shares or searches files from a plain-language instruction. It reads file content rather than only the file name, learns a person’s naming and folder patterns over time, and produces multi-page PDFs, Word documents and spreadsheets on request. A newer Workflows feature lets a rule be described once, such as filing invoices by client and year, so every matching file that arrives afterward is handled the same way, with every step logged and any run replayable. Free tools include scan-to-PDF from a phone camera and PDF merging, splitting, compressing and watermarking. The product ships as a web app, browser extension, desktop app and iOS and Android apps.
Search answers are grounded in the user’s own files rather than generated freely: each answer cites the file and section it came from, and the site states that it says so when information is not in the files before turning to a web search instead. OCR lets it work with scanned documents, and it can fetch a public file from the web into the workspace on request. Storage of contracts, invoices and correspondence in one AI-searchable place raises the stakes if access controls are weak, so review who can share and open files. The pricing FAQ describes what happens after cancellation: a team workspace turns read-only and keeps files for 90 days with an email warning before deletion, while a personal workspace reverts to the free plan and keeps its files.
