Atoms turns a written product description into a deployed web app or website, generating frontend, backend, database, authentication, and payment flows without requiring the user to write code. The tool comes from DeepWisdom, a Chinese AI company founded in 2019 by former Huawei and Tencent researcher Alexander Wu. DeepWisdom built the open-source MetaGPT framework in 2023, launched an earlier version of this product as MGX in February 2025, then relaunched it under the Atoms name in January 2026.
Instead of a single model answering prompts, Atoms runs a coordinated team of AI agents assigned to roles such as product manager, engineer, and data scientist, each handling a different stage of building software, a structure carried over from the MetaGPT research that underpins the product. A Race Mode feature lets multiple models attempt the same build in parallel so a user can compare outputs before picking one, and finished projects can be edited through a visual editor or exported as raw code via GitHub.
Atoms suits founders, solo builders, and business teams who want a working product, SaaS tool, internal dashboard, e-commerce page, without hiring engineers first. Pricing runs Free (limited daily credits), Pro at $20/month (or $15.80/month billed yearly) with monthly credit allotments, and Max at $100/month (or $79/month yearly) for heavier build volume, with additional credit packs sold on top of each paid tier.
