Presto Voice answers the drive-thru. It takes the order, offers the upsell, works around the clock and integrates with the point of sale and the headset system already in the restaurant. The company reports non-intervention rates up to 95 percent and upsell offer rates up to 88 percent.
The upsell number explains the business case better than the automation one. Staff offer the extra item inconsistently, especially when a queue is building, and a system that offers it every single time changes average ticket in a way that compounds across thousands of orders a week.
Presto Phoenix has been at this since 2008 and names Carl’s Jr., Hardee’s, Taco John’s, Dairy Queen and others as customers, which is real deployment rather than a pilot. Nothing is priced publicly, the multi-dialect claim meets a hard test in a noisy drive-thru lane, and up to 95 percent non-intervention still means a person is needed for the rest.
