Promethean AI helps artists build virtual worlds out of the assets a studio already owns. It indexes images, video, 3D models, animation and PDFs into a metadata library of creative decisions, then takes natural-language direction to suggest and place combinations of them.
It is emphatically not a prompt-to-image tool, and the distinction is the point. Game and film production runs on approved assets with a pipeline behind them, and a generator producing novel images is useless there. Automating the routine placement work while the artist keeps the creative decisions is the version of this that professionals can actually adopt, which is why it plugs into Unreal, Unity, Maya, Blender and 3ds Max rather than replacing them.
Assets are never uploaded to a cloud server, only the metadata, which is what makes it viable for studios under NDA. It was founded by a former Naughty Dog art director, is backed by the Disney Accelerator and reports over 10,000 users including PlayStation Studios. No pricing appears on the homepage, it assumes a studio with an asset library worth indexing, and it is a professional tool with the learning curve that implies.
