Sameday answers calls for home services businesses around the clock, books the appointment, texts the customer, logs the interaction and pushes it into the business management software the company already runs. Named parts include AI CSRs, a phone system, a scheduling wizard, campaigns, coaching, insights and playbooks.
The economics in this trade are unusually stark. A missed call for a plumber or a roofer is a job that goes to whoever answered instead, often worth several hundred to several thousand, and the calls arrive precisely when everyone is on a job and cannot pick up. Coach and Insights add the other half: most of these businesses have never had any visibility into how their calls are actually handled.
Nearly 2,000 service businesses are reported as customers. No pricing is published, trade customers can be impatient with an automated answer when the problem is urgent, and booking accuracy depends on how cleanly the scheduling integration is set up.
