Pega is the enterprise platform for the processes a large organisation cannot afford to get wrong: case management, workflow automation, customer service and the decisioning that sits behind every next-best-action. Pegasystems has been doing this since 1983, which is longer than most of the category has existed.
The AI layer is spread across the platform rather than bolted on as a chatbot. Pega Blueprint designs workflows and applications, Customer Decision Hub runs predictive decisioning at scale, and the Infinity ’26 release adds AI agents to the existing case and workflow model. Pega makes a point of not charging per token, which matters when volume is measured in millions of cases.
This is enterprise software in the full sense. Nothing is priced publicly, deployment is a programme rather than a signup, and the platform’s depth is the same thing as its learning curve. Financial services, insurance, healthcare and government are the natural buyers; a small team is not the audience.
