Workflowy is a note-taking and task app built around a single nested bullet list in place of documents and folders. Each bullet can hold sub-bullets to any depth, and the same list serves for notes, checklists, kanban boards and project plans. The site says lists sync across devices, and it has guides for methods such as bullet journaling and PARA.
Workflowy AI is a set of optional features that generate, edit, summarize and improve content within a Workflowy document. Its AI terms page says they run through OpenAI GPT models and Anthropic Claude models, that prompts and selected text are sent to those providers only to return a response, and that the providers are barred from training on that data. The features can be left unused or switched off in settings. The homepage itself gives AI no more than a footer link, so the outliner remains the main product.
The Basic plan is free and includes all features with 100 new nodes a month and 100 MB of file uploads. On the US pricing page Pro is $6.99 a month billed annually or $8.99 billed monthly, with unlimited nodes and uploads and a 7-day free trial. Teams plans are sold separately.
